About Clean Slates
A local company covering London and Surrey, with three arms: cleaning, clearance, and construction.
Three services that belong together
Clean Slates Cleaning looks after homes, offices, driveways and memorials. Clean Slates Clearance takes away what is no longer wanted — from a single sofa to the contents of a whole house. Clean Slates Construction handles renovations, extensions, maintenance and fit-outs for homeowners, landlords, social housing providers and businesses.
They are run as three arms of one business because so many jobs need more than one: a property cleared and then cleaned, a kitchen ripped out and rebuilt, or a renovation’s waste removed as it goes and a builders’ clean at the end. One company means one point of contact, and nobody waiting on anybody else.
Whichever side you deal with, the way we work is the same: agree the price before we start, turn up when we said, do the job properly, and send photos so you can see it is done.
Four things we will not compromise on
- The quoted price is the price. If a job turns out bigger than the photos suggested, we stop and talk to you before doing anything that changes the figure.
- Waste goes where it should. Registered carrier, reuse and recycling first, and paperwork if you need it.
- We say when something is not our job. Asbestos, memorial repairs, roof work — we will point you to the right specialist rather than have a go.
- If it is not right, we come back. Tell us within 24 hours of a clean and we return and sort it, with nothing to pay.

Vetting
All cleaners DBS-checked, which matters when we hold keys or work in occupied homes and premises.

Building work
Gas Safe registered engineers and niceic registered electricians for the construction arm, with certificates issued for notifiable work.
