Four services, because that is what people actually ask for
Clean Slates Cleaning started with domestic cleaning, and kept being asked the same follow-up questions. Could we do the office as well. Could we do something about the driveway. Could we go and look at a grandmother's headstone, because the family had moved away and nobody had been for years.
So we do all four. The equipment and the training are different for each, but the way we work is the same: turn up when we said, do the job properly, charge what we quoted, and send photographs so you can see what you paid for.
We are not the cheapest and we are careful not to pretend otherwise. What we are is consistent, insured, and easy to get hold of — you will speak to the person who does the work, not a call centre.
Four things we will not compromise on
- The quoted price is the price. If the job turns out bigger than the photographs suggested, we stop and talk to you before doing anything that changes the figure.
- The same people come back. Continuity is most of what makes a cleaning service good, and it is the first thing to go when a company grows too fast.
- We say when something is not our job. Repointing, memorial repairs, roof work — we will point you to the right trade rather than have a go.
- If it is not right, we come back. Tell us within 24 hours and we return and sort it, with nothing to pay.

Insurance
£5m public liability insurance. The certificate is available on request, and we would rather you asked than assumed.
Vetting
All cleaners DBS-checked, which matters when we hold keys or work in occupied premises and schools.
Products
Non-caustic and pet-safe as standard for interiors. COSHH sheets available for everything we bring onto a commercial site.
Every London borough and all of Surrey
We cover every London borough and the whole of Surrey. If you are just outside it is still worth asking — we travel further for larger jobs and for memorial cleaning.
