TODO before launch: this is a working draft covering the site as built. Add your registered trading address and, if you register with the ICO, your registration number. Have it checked if you take on commercial contracts with their own data requirements.
Who we are
Clean Slates Cleaning ("we", "us") provides cleaning services in London and Surrey. For any question about your data, contact us at info@cleanslates.uk or on 07785 016005.
What we collect
When you use the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you are asking about, any details and photographs you choose to attach, and the fact that you ticked the consent box. If you phone, email or WhatsApp us instead, we hold whatever you tell us in that message.
Why we collect it
Solely to answer your enquiry, quote for the work, carry it out, and keep the records a business is required to keep. We do not sell your details, we do not share them with third parties for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.
Who processes it
This website is hosted by Netlify, and form submissions are delivered and stored through Netlify Forms. Netlify processes that data on our behalf as our hosting provider. Email we receive is handled by our email provider.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted after 12 months. Records relating to work we carried out, including invoices, are kept for six years, as UK tax rules require.
Photographs
We take before-and-after photographs as a record of the work. We will not publish a photograph of your property, or of a memorial, on our website or social media without asking you first and getting a clear yes.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and runs no analytics. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do so within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
